The Rapid 54 comes with or without a Vacuum Module for use with either compressed air, nitrogen or argon gases. It uses a venturi vacuum system to pull a vacuum just prior to the cork being inserted into the bottle.
The vertical position is designed for easier corking and has a wider tip than less quality corkers. This will insure that the piston always hits the cork at a vertical position and will not dent, tear, or damage the cork.
Adjustment of the cork height is quick and simple.
Manufactured in Switzerland the quality of these corkers will withstand years and years of use in a commercial winery. Our rental corker has corked hundreds of thousands of cork and is still going strong.
