1000 Liter Electric Bain Marie Heated Still

Our Bain Marie stills are designed for complete precision temperature control of the kettle. Heated with electronic heating elements submersed in a oil or water bath which is contained in a jacket surrounding the kettle. This design allows for consistent temperature throughout the kettle without areas inside the kettle that are hotter or colder. This design also extends the life of the heating elements as they stay clean in the oil bath and never come in contact with your product.

Bain Marie is basically a double boiler and has been used for centuries by cooks from all over the world who needed a method to heat delicate sauces like hollandaise and bearnaise without overheating or burning them. It has also been used for the distillation of fragile plant materials for making essential oils. Having this much temperature control in the kettle is a huge advantage for distillers for getting consistency between batches especially when working with botanicals where too high of temperatures can create off flavors.
